cat 1 quick hitch bushings needed

what do the washers do?
Pats go on the lift arms only. This means the implement governs the arm spacing. The lift arms can slip off the implement pins unless a lynch pin is used. Normally, with just the lift arms, the ball end encircles the implement pin, thus ensuring the lynch pin is stressed evenly. With Pats the arms engage the implement pin with a "U" shape. The lynch pins would be easily bent or dislodged without a washer between them and the U to help even out the stress. -- The washer bend ensures the washer stays in proper place on the implement so it is ready for quick hitch up. A standard washer can be used, but requires more attention when hooking up.

They act as stops on the end of the pins so the pins don’t slide off the lift arm claw. I must admit that my easy hitch was bought 15 years ago for a previous tractor. The newer Pat’s hitch might use a different design.

I'm using the app on Android. I'll have to try that and see it works sometime... Didn't even think of that idea.

Edit to add... Copy and paste doesn't work in the app.
Stop using APP and go full Browser.... APPs are poorly written only highlighting certain features app writer is familiar with....

It's nice having zero ads ever. App used to work the way it should. Even got Ibrahim involved. He couldn't figure it out.. Oh well. Guess I can use full browser when I need to post pictures for help. I don't want to detail the OP's thread much. But the browser I idea is good. Thanks

I bought the PAT'S Category 1-2 — Pat's Quick Hitches Pat's 3 Point Hitch — PAT'S QUICK HITCH
On Sale at Rural King a few years back (169??)
Happy with it.
It comes with an adj rod affair that lets you set the width for different elements.
Really makes it easy for an old man who never was a muscular fella.

Oh, just discovered what he was asking about. If teh Cat one stuff is smaller diameter - why not swap out the smaller diameter bits of larger diameter parts? Would that not solve the problem by making all the attachments CAT 2 compatible (in so far as attaching went)?

so I am considering a quick hitch, looking through the comments it appears I need bushings per attachment? people are saying they are cheap, but quick hitch bushing can be upwards of 40 dollars, people in the threads are mentioning 1 dollar per bushing I am not seeing, that can someone shed some light?

This is the hitch I am looking at.

I found it was a lot easier to just get a Cat 1 quick hitch. I got mine from Good Works Tractor and it works well. No need to keep moving bushing from one implement to another and no need to buy tons of bushings.

I had the bushings on my implements when I owned a JD subcompact. When I traded up to a L5460 Kubota, my choice was the hitch that did or did not need the bushings. I stuck with the bushings because the end lips of the bushing limits side slide of the implement. The hitch was also cheaper as Kubota has mostly moved on from the larger lower.

I have a similar quick hitch but I had to modify the top link attach point on most of my implements to make it work.

I installed this "cat 1 E" (no bushings) QH today on my Massive Ferguson GC2300 SCUT. I only have the Frontier 2048 and a box blade, both with the small pins. $200 at Trac Sup. On the box blade I have to clearance the pin nuts a little, and add a larger spacer on top, or make a thinner hook. Apparently not QH compatible, yet. https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/tooltuff-direct-cat-1-e-quick-hitch-25-040
