Pats go on the lift arms only. This means the implement governs the arm spacing. The lift arms can slip off the implement pins unless a lynch pin is used. Normally, with just the lift arms, the ball end encircles the implement pin, thus ensuring the lynch pin is stressed evenly. With Pats the arms engage the implement pin with a "U" shape. The lynch pins would be easily bent or dislodged without a washer between them and the U to help even out the stress. -- The washer bend ensures the washer stays in proper place on the implement so it is ready for quick hitch up. A standard washer can be used, but requires more attention when hooking up.what do the washers do?
They act as stops on the end of the pins so the pins don’t slide off the lift arm claw. I must admit that my easy hitch was bought 15 years ago for a previous tractor. The newer Pat’s hitch might use a different design.what do the washers do?
Stop using APP and go full Browser.... APPs are poorly written only highlighting certain features app writer is familiar with....I'm using the app on Android. I'll have to try that and see it works sometime... Didn't even think of that idea.
Edit to add... Copy and paste doesn't work in the app.
It's nice having zero ads ever. App used to work the way it should. Even got Ibrahim involved. He couldn't figure it out.. Oh well. Guess I can use full browser when I need to post pictures for help. I don't want to detail the OP's thread much. But the browser I idea is good. ThanksStop using APP and go full Browser.... I found it was a lot easier to just get a Cat 1 quick hitch. I got mine from Good Works Tractor and it works well. No need to keep moving bushing from one implement to another and no need to buy tons of bushings.so I am considering a quick hitch, looking through the comments it appears I need bushings per attachment? people are saying they are cheap, but quick hitch bushing can be upwards of 40 dollars, people in the threads are mentioning 1 dollar per bushing I am not seeing, that can someone shed some light?
This is the hitch I am looking at.
