Who shot Liberty Valance is one of my favorites, but Jimmy Stewart is more the main character than John Wayne. Stagecoach is another on of my favorites along with True Grit.

The Searchers is my favorite John Wayne movie.

Couldn't sleep last night so I surfed the antenna and found a station binging on Car 54, Where Are You?

I am not sure that I ever would have thought of that show, had it not shown up on the weekend line-up. Funny show.

My wife watches the 'home improvement' stuff. I don't, not interested and public TV is really geared for an intel level below adolescents anyway. Between the immature programming and the constant barrage of inane ads, I find TV to be nauseating.

Yes it does leave a lot to be desired, unlike TBN.

If you like the old stuff and can stream, Pluto is a free App that has a lot of channels that play older content. It’s pretty much all I watch when I have the time. Seen most of it don’t have to think too much just be entertained.

We never had color TV until I got out of HS. I never realized that the tailfeathers of the Peacock on the local station was in various shades. I didn't know that the Smirfs were blue until I watched them with my niece years later. Kermit was green?

Now I find myself watching old westerns on Youtube, which of course are in B&W. I'm just getting back to my roots.

I watch Gunsmoke on the Western channel, Grit, and Insp. Like the episodes in black and white better than color.
