Ya'll can argue about this stuff until you're blue in the face. Driving an EV doesn't make you an expert on them, or batteries, or the process in which they're made or disposed of. I call BS on EV's and believe it's just another thing big gov is trying to push down our throats and I want no part of it. You can keep your EV and your man purse, as I have no interest in either....

In cold climates ICE does not use waste heat. Heats the cabin with energy which would otherwise not be shed under those conditions. ICE gets poorer MPG in the cold, especially considering warmup.
They most certainly do use waste heat for cabin heating. ICE vehicles get worse winter mpg from a variety of reasons, from drawing cold air in the intake, to thicker lubricants, to winter blend fuels. Only the initial warmup period to thermostat opening temperature is non waste heat energy.

EVs do not have to use battery power to warm the cabin before departure,
“Before departure “ there’s your strawman. Even if we shift the subject to “before departure”, you’re still using electricity you have to pay for. For us in cold climates, we know, you need heat for the entire duration of the trip. EV uses battery energy. ICE has the advantage by using waste heat. This is all well documented by EV proponents, and one of the known drawbacks of EV’s in cold climates.

Oooh! How many months can I park an ICE with a full tank of gasoline before the gasoline goes bad? 6 months? That is 180 days or 0.05% per day. Not much different.
Another ridiculous strawman argument.
Many people have a vehicle that get driven once a week. Be it they are retired or a second vehicle for their college kids.
Nobody but you, would leave a car with a full tank of gas sit for 6 months. Totally unrealistic strawman

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: The superior EV is only the ones you tell us are superior. You still rely on ICE. Your ego can’t stop itself. You could be a character in Batman :ROFLMAO:
I think you really are mentally ill.
When did I ever say I didn't use gas or diesel equipment or vehicles? If I could get rid of my F250 I would. I don't see myself selling my tractor either.
But yes, my Tesla is the most superior car I have ever owned.

And you can prove otherwise?
To satisfy you and your unending arguments? No. For everyone else, Earth is a few billion years old.

Why not? They all have battery powered substitutes, you just want to espouse your view on our little world.

You mean, people who have never owned an EV arguing against EV's?
No, I mean people arguing about the complete environmental impact of something from creation to end of life.

I can agree to that.

We should be responsible stewards of the environment. God has given us this earth to live on so we should take care of it.
And I'm NOT advocating for the climate change religion.

Ohhh the things we say behind the comfort of our computer screen. So you are equating owning an EV to being a pervert? Your ignorance and stupidity really is shining bright today.

Yes, owning an EV makes you an expert on how EV's function such as charging times and driving distances. You just prove that you are willfully ignorant.
