I read them an it still doesn't make sense. Go out to your ice engine and wearing a pair of gloves to protect you from the heat.If you would have read some of the posts in the link you would have educated yourself and not look like a fool.
See if it sucks or blows out the tail pipe.
The only way for the exhaust to suck anything into the head, is if the exhaust valve is hung open. And it's not open long enough to draw a piece of catalytic converter into the cylinder.
Crawl under a truck and actually look at where it's located. It's mounted low.
They did list in your link that the exhaust "manifold" cracks.
More than likely the exhaust manifold being cracked is the cause and its allowing crud to get into the head.
