Common sense, and actual real-world experience will tell you that new car models always have more issues than models late in their generation.
Common sense also tells us any product which is different from similar products will have more consumer complaints.

Try giving a diesel to one who has only had gassers.

To give “reliability ratings” any merit one must know how they are scored. Too many simplify just to be able to crank out easy numbers and get clicks.

Yep. That's a valid point. And you didn't even have to call anyone ugly, to make it stick. :D

JD Power scoring criteria is "I dislike EV's". It's obvious the latest reliability rankings were an EV hit piece.
The ignoramuses on this thread that don't own an EV comment as if they know better.

 Geez. My 11 year old is more clever than that.

Must we quote your own OP?

What a short memory you have. From crybabyjake:
But then I guess people get used to warts on their faces....or the bubble butt look these days.... I wouldn't.
I'm just mirroring his childish remarks.

You and the other EV haters can't help yourself but to trash every EV thread with your ignorant hatred.
Here's a childish remark you will understand: "Make like a tree and leave"

I think EV's would have a better chance of garnering acceptance if their batteries were as universal as your typical ICE starter battery instead of being proprietary between companies and models.

You'll know that EV's are mainstream when Joe Bob has a used EV parked outside his trailer as his dealer driver instead of his '73 Buick running on 7 cylinders.

From where did you get the impression I'm an EV hater? I like EV's, in fact I'm almost certain our next kid hauler will be an EV. I'm just not blind to the fact that there are pros and cons with both technologies.

Even my favorite band has a song or two I don't like. I guess I'm just not a loyal fanboy.
