I thought EVs were cheaper than the average ICE , or at least that was your and Gale and Trads argument on closed thread...... pick your side Grumpy your getting confusing.....even property taxes effected ? good to know, I will add that to my "EV realist" pros and cons list .....

EVs have no downside. And anything negative, only comes from haters and morons who are not of superior intellect.

They are the ultimate vehicle. Anyone who claims they are not, are spreading disinformation.

Watched a Tesla pull into a parking space today. I guess you can select what sound the car makes? This thing sounded like George Jetson's space car. Very cool.

Texas started charging a $200/yr registration fee for BEVs in 2023 to offset the gas tax.

Must have put it in reverse? The Y's make a quiet turbine sound when backing up as a warning so people, animals hear more than just the tires rolling.

First time a person hears the Y in reverse they do laugh and crack a smile. It is different for sure.

The new Hyundai N Model ionic 5 makes all kinds of engine sounds and reacts as it is paddle shifted or over revved.

I think that would wear thin but some say it gives a person more reference to the power output and helps their driving for things like drifting
