David, you've gotta have something in the tank that is restricting the fuel flow or maybe a fuel line that is collapsing.
I agree with Thomas, you've got way more patience than me. If it was mine it would have already burned.

Possibly. Already purged tank and lines. Thinking I might completely pull tank and inspect.

My conversion from kilometers to miles is (?)meters times 39 (there are 39 inches in a meter) divided by 12 (12 inches to the foot) divided by 5280 (feet in a mile). There is a shorter formula but I can never remember it.
eg; 32 kms is 32000 meters x 39"= 1,248,000 inches divided by 12= 104,000' divided by 5280 feet in a mile=19.696969 miles or rounded up to 20 miles.
A bit late (still trying to catch up) but: a bit rough but a kilometre is 5/8th of a mile so divide by 5 multiple by 8 or divide by 8 and* 5.

Have you got a porcupine? That is what I use to clean my wood stove chimneys.
What I have is something I 'made up', copying what a Chimney Sweep (handy man) used. It's actually a heavy steel star-picket (metal fencing post) with chicken wire wrapped around the top of the picket and tied on with light galvanised wire. You then tie a good and long length of rope through the 'bottom' hole of the picket, dropping it down the chimney from the top. The chicken wire will scrape the inside of the chimney & the weight of the picket assists in breaking up any blockages.

This thing "works a treat".

The woodheater itself is an old design with a permanent (non-removeable) top plate... I cannot 'come up' from below. I can get a tool in there to scrape out/off the plate of whatever drops down.

Unfortunately, due to an ACL injury, I'm 'not allowed' to go up on my roof.

As I said, it's now Spring so I can use electric heater(s) to take the 'chill' off.

Hot coffee has been poured into cup. 44° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 74° with sun and light winds. Washed house windows yesterday morning. Then conserved energy rest of the day. Hope to get a full day of conserve energy in today.
This little guy almost got run over by wheels on my BBQ.

Good morning,
43° now highs in the low 70’s and sunny today. Winds NW 5-10 mph, DP’s in the low/mid 40’s.

Spent all day yesterday outside, weeded garden for I hope the final time this season. Trimmed some more low branches around the edges of the back property line. Nice to work outside and not have to run into the AC to cool off.

Today should be another good day for a little more clean up and do some energy conservation later on.

Enjoy your day everyone
Stay safe and healthy

58 and starry outside. Getting up to only 76.

Hope you get that wildlife tax exemption, Kyle.

Happy Anniversary, PJ and wife!

Another nice and longer hike yesterday for building Della's miles.

My wife asked me to scan "some" photos of her mom to use for a slideshow at the funeral...turned out to be 75. I should have learned BEF's tricks...but researched a way to scan multiple pix at a time and save each to a separate file...had fun naming each file. You've probably thought about how many more things are photographed now with "free" digital vs. long ago when cameras and film/developing were so relatively expensive. So, each childhood photo from 0ver 85 years ago is priceless.

Good morning, the low is 46 and going to a high of 73°F. Zero wind. Sunny!

Today is the North Bay shopping trip. The fellow that is taking us will be here at 08:30 I am up an hour before I needed to be, but I went to bed at 22:00 hrs last night, so no wonder.

Took my goobers, now wait another hour and check the sugar, then eat my cereal and orange. Same routine every morning this year. Previous years when I was working I might get cereal in the morning or I might get bacon & eggs sometime before 6 PM. I get more regular meals when I am not working. Maybe that is a good thing.

Shopping trip will be 3 possibly 4 stops. 1.5 hours on the highway round trip and the running around in town, but they are all within 5 miles of each other, start to finish.

Time to get on with my day.

Have a safe day all
