Any ammo experts?

Made it down about to post 17 or so.

I would pick up atleast 4 different brands od similar weighted projectiles and give them all a try. You might be suprised; sometimes the "premium" ammo will shoot like hot garbage, and good old cheap Reminton CoreLoks will shoot lights out. No way to know without trying them.

That's kinda the accuracy part; terminal part; I have been impressed with GMX non lead projectiles; now rebranded as CX from Hornady. You will use a lighter projectiles then you expect, for similar effect.

I'm not a fan of Federal Fusion, just haven't really opened up well, but that's a specific, relatively slow velocity projectile, 120gr 6.5Grendel; so I think 2400 fps?

Completely agree, but with one small issue. I would branch out to some different weighted projectiles simply due to the fact that some guns like certain weights versus brands and designs. Pretty much I would find any ammo that was reasonably available and send a few down range just to see how they performed!
I have been surprised by some guns by what ammo they liked to shoot.
