Auto translate has issues with Finnish but you'll get it. As you can see in the spec list, Steyr had a shuttle transmission as standard in 1956.
Nowadays, Steyr is the premium brand of CNH, both Case and Steyr models are made in the former Steyr plant in St Valentin, Austria. My mates Puma also has a badge in the cab in large fonts "made in Austria" to set them apart from the blue ones that are assembled in the former Ford plant in Basildon, UK. The blue ones have the peak boosted horsepower on the hood, where the red ones have the nominal hp (without boost) on the hood, to give the red ones a slightly more solid brand image. The only difference is the cab interior, control levers and buttons, and control software.
Fiat found out that Case owners were unhappy with New Hollands painted red, so they had to give it enough of a brand identity, and build quality.
Case bought Steyr in 1996 because of their CVT transmission, and because they needed replacement for their European 1455 model, which they kept in production to close the gap between 125hp Maxxum 5250 and 155hp Magnum 7210, and more specific the chassis size of the 1455 which was popular in Europe.
The MX150 and MX170 came in 97 or 98, but that powershift was already a bit crude and limited (4 range 4 powershifts, with little overlap and rough shifting and loud howling gears) by then, so the rebadged Steyr powershift (6 ranges, 4 powershifts) and CVT models formed the premium models for Case in Europe.
