It works. Better that, than having them stick 8 feet out the back.A buddy sent me this, saw locally the other day, too bad he doesn’t have a truck to haul it with! lol

Trucks stopped being trucks when the boxes got short and the cabs started sitting 6.A buddy sent me this, saw locally the other day, too bad he doesn’t have a truck to haul it with! lol

That's because you are wrong. People are buying them for what they need. You are free to buy something with an 8 foot bed if that's what you need... As I pointed out in that other thread. In the "75% of truck owners..." thread that change hasn't quite sunk in yet.
There I feel like a 1-man army against the 1/2-ton crowd.
No, it's some evil conspiracy, that the big 3 only make what no one wants. That's because you are wrong. People are buying them for what they need. You are free to buy something with an 8 foot bed if that's what you need... As I pointed out in that other thread.
My argument also, when people say that I can't haul an 8 foot 2x4 with the tailgate closed. No, it's some evil conspiracy, that the big 3 only make what no one wants. They build what sells, end of story.
And bed length doesn't have any primary effect on towing capacity, off-road capability, or snow-covered road capability, which are the main reasons I own a truck. I couldn't care less if the thing has a 6 ft or 8 ft bed, when I'm hauling 15 ft logs. That's why I own a trailer.
