My monthly Amazon bill is climbing. It's just too convenient.
Every time I turn around I see or think of something I need to fix this or that... it's a new gate latch or a marker pen or a bit of chocolate.
It's peppercorn or spray lube !
I don't know how to stop it

It's getting to the point where the first thing I think about before going to the store for something is "what is the likelihood that I will actually be able to find it at a brick and mortar store?" Most of the time, it's faster AND cheaper to just order it online.

Silly example, tree felling wedges - $8 or $9 at TS, $5 and free shipping on Amazon.

My wife hates shopping for anything, and I hate to go into town, so yeah, Amazon is pretty much a daily visitor at our house. Also, I don’t really trust eBay or Temu.

Plus the few questions asked returns... I swear I'm hooked. It's the first place I look. I can tell you though sometimes I find it cheaper if I'm willing to wait. HD has free delivery too.

The convince of Amazon is hard to dismiss, But it’s killing mom and pop stores. I try to spend my money locally as much as possible, which helps my community is some small way.

Not complaining or criticizing, I shop at Amazon as well. Just find it kinda interesting that in "another thread" you are blaming store closings on something other than consumers' choices.
