We are wanting to buy a hoop barn and this is the size that I am looking at. It seems to be the biggest that I will be able to fit on the pad I created, it also seems to be the biggest the M7060 will be able to pick up. We are looking at the 36x48, and it weighs 2,500 lbs. Do you think I will have any trouble lifting this off the delivery truck? I have light duty pallet fork frame I could use to save on weight if needed.

It appears your rated lifting capacity is 2535 lbs to full height at the pins. Capacity decreases as the load moves forward of the pins, but also increases with reduced heights.
I could do some really fuzzy math with percentages, but it would still end up being a guess. Depending on how the load is palletized, I suspect you could lift it an inch or two to get it off the truck, then keep it close to the ground to its final destination.

Worst case you could break it apart on the truck, but the driver may not like that too much.
Just to throw out MY numbers (different tractor and loader) to get an idea of lift height and distance from pins:

Loader lift capacity at pins 1720 lbs (full height)
Loader lift capacity 500mm (20”) forward 1292 lbs (full height)
Loader lift capacity at pins 2202 lbs (1.5m height)
Loader lift capacity 500mm (20”) forward 1766 lbs (1.5m height)

I have my doubts. A lot of that weight will be far from the base of the forks and that leverage makes a difference. I lift pallets of wood pellets off my trailer every year. Each pallet weight just over 2000 lb. I have to have my rotary mower on the 3 point hitch or trying to lift that 2000 lb just lifts the back of the tractor. And I have to air up the front tires to 30 psi! Does your M7060 have cast iron rims and liquid ballast in the tires?

I do have cast wheels and liquid ballast. I am not worried about the back end coming up on me I will be on level ground and I have not had problems with the back end lifting much.

The pallet it will be on seems to be standard depth, but is 10' wide or so. I will have to confirm this.

Yeah I am thinking I will be able to manage it.

In the past I have managed to get stuff off of trucks by dragging with the forks off the truck and than quickly lowering to the ground once it comes off the truck lol. I do not think I want to do this with a $10,000 pallet though.

I was thinking of having a back up option of using some kind of come-a-long(or somehow using the tractor) to drag it off the truck into the back of my light duty dump truck.

How deep is the pallet? If it’s like a standard pallet depth it would probably be fine. If it’s a deep pallet like as wide as the trailer deck I seriously doubt it lifts it.

If the frame members get bent in the processing of unloading, that may make final assembly more difficult.

That's why I am not going to drag it off the truck to the ground with the tractor loader if it can't pick it up. I think i could carefully drag it though into my truck somehow, the dump bed is much higher and lines up close to the trailer height.

Do any of your neighbors have a tractor loader? Often with heavy loads, we use two forklifts. Lift the pallet up high enough and let the truck drive out from underneath it and lower it to the ground. Then you can break it apart as you build the building.
