Do any of your neighbors have a tractor loader? Often with heavy loads, we use two forklifts. Lift the pallet up high enough and let the truck drive out from underneath it and lower it to the ground. Then you can break it apart as you build the building.

Yeah there are couple bigger tractors around, that is a option.

The pallet will have to get unloaded on the one lane gravel road in front of my property and carried up to the site from there.

If that’s the case I would be asking them to use at least two pallets to make it much easier safer for you to handle with your tractor.

Yeah it comes on one pallet and no I don't want to even ask that because I don't want to pay the freight for another pallet. I can ask a neighbor to lift if need be or prob get it loaded at whatever local dock it will be arriving at before delivery. There is not much risk here as far as it being unsafe... I am not trying to drive the pallet across any side slope.

We are wanting to buy a hoop barn and this is the size that I am looking at. It seems to be the biggest that I will be able to fit on the pad I created, it also seems to be the biggest the M7060 will be able to pick up. We are looking at the 36x48, and it weighs 2,500 lbs. Do you think I will have any trouble lifting this off the delivery truck? I have light duty pallet fork frame I could use to save on weight if needed.

As a former owner of 3 Kubota farm tractors, I think theres a bigger issue you might be overlooking.
I put new bearings in the front ends of 3 or 4 of them from lifting at/above the load limit.
Maybe once you’ll be OK, but repeated lifting on the bevel axle front ends causes seal/bearing failure.
The bevel front axle is a nice feature for ground clearance, but its a weakness if you overload the loader

I do have cast wheels and liquid ballast. I am not worried about the back end coming up on me I will be on level ground and I have not had problems with the back end lifting much.

The pallet it will be on seems to be standard depth, but is 10' wide or so. I will have to confirm this.

If the pallet is 10' wide, it will likely be loaded on the truck end wise. Unless it's a flat bed truck, that means you will have to lift it from the end. With that much weight forward, I doubt you will be able to lift it with your forks.

I have done what others have suggested. I pulled the pallet off the truck onto the forks and quickly lowered it to the ground. I was then able to pick it up from the side. Make sure you have enough rear ballast if you try this!

On one occasion, I had to break open the pallet and carry it it two trips.

I've had two M7040 Kubotas and often lifted 2,000 lb pallets. They were a handful unless on a perfectly flat surface. I have two weights on each side and heavy radial rears with cast wheel centers.

Even so, I don't think I could lift 2500 lbs. If I could somehow lift it I would be afraid I would tip or drop it. If you do try it, just have your backup tractor on site and warmed up just in case. Good luck.

That's 2,947# plus weight of skid and securing method. I'd count on having to lift 3,200#. If the load is not centered on the pallet, you have another issue. It could be easy to overturn the tractor with the bottom of the heavy load 50" off the ground.
Skid is 10' wide you said, that means you'll have to lift the skid then the truck driver pull out from under the skid unless your unload area is large. (You should use rear ballast)

Any way you can get in touch with the company that is going to deliver your material with a lift gate, this would solve your problem.

I recently received a crate of solar panels that weighed 2298 lbs. my MF2705E loader with forks is rated at 2300 lbs. I can report that I was able to raise it only a few inches off the truck bed so that the truck could move forward and the load lowered. It’s imperative that you have substantial weight on your 3 point hitch for this to work otherwise the tractor could easily tip forward (I had a heavy Gannon box blade).
