Somebody didn't take the "laws" of inertia into count when chaining that beam to the trailer! I'm sure glad he lives to see another day!

He slammed into the other truck in front of him quite hard also.

At about 1130 last night, wife and I in bed had just turned out the lights, we hear skeeeeeeeeerKADUNK

Fellow was fine, my guess is his BAC was sufficient that he was loose enough during the roll-over not to tear anything.
He kept asking if we would help him roll the car back over but we declined; I'd called 911 and CHP (they have jurisdiction on the "highways" around here) showed up about 15 minutes in and we went back to the house.

Tow truck sure made a lot of noise for a while.

Scraping metal on asphalt is like fingernails on a chalkboard!

I just went out to look at the road and there's no sign of skidding. Just a hint of fluids on the asphalt and some busted plastic on the shoulder.

Good thing he didn't roll it down that steep bank!

We switched from cans to a bulk tank in the late 50's. I can still recall the milk hauler that came and got the cans. He would bend over to reach down in the water bank can cooler grab two cans one in each hand stand up with them rotate them to lay on his back and shoulder walk to the truck and set those two cans on the bed, then repeat several times. All day long
That was my dad!
On school snow days (so I'm guessing it was mid 1960s) I would ride with him. People along his route would wait at the end of their driveway for him to bust through the drifts & follow him.
