Good Morning
35° and raining, not a nice time for outside activities. High for today is 45, with rain likely through out the day. Might see some peeks of sun this afternoon, but it will be a muddy mess outside.
Yesterday was more organizing and cleaning in the shop. I got the water cooling adapter to plug my water cooled torch from my old Miller into the new machine. It’s amazing what the water cooling does to the capacity of the torch. The air cooled one is rated 170 amps, the water cooled is 350 amps, and they are about the same size.
There is also a big difference in size and weight between the old transformer Miller and the inverter Primeweld. The new machine has many more features and TIG welds much nicer because of them. The old Miller is a great stick welder though.
Two of the band members had holiday obligations last night, but we got together anyway, we found locals to play in their place. So we played stuff that everyone would know or was easy to pick up. Grandson sat in on tambourine. Wife got some pictures of him, I’ll see if I can post them later.
Today doesn’t have a lot planned, we are supposed to get together with all the kids, spouses, and grandkids this afternoon at oldest son’s. That might get moved to the old folks home as DIL is under the weather with a sinus infection.
But it will be somewhere here on “the compound”.
