I'm an amateur photographer who loves to take pictures of just about anything. Over the years I have developed some skill at post processing my photos in various programs. Lately I have been working in some AI programs to generate photos that are not real. My girlfriend does this for work. I thought I would start incorporating real photos into the AI to give it some personality.

I found an old selfie that she sent me a few years back with just the right head tilt and expression. I think it turned out really good. Hope you all get a kick out of it.

Nice work.
Years ago when just editing photos was new, I scanned and edited my mother's genealogy photos (hundreds). It was a lot of fun. I think I started out with Corel Draw.

Lol, yes Corel Draw. So many years ago. I had no idea what I was doing.

That's a fantastic idea! Incorporating personal photos into AI-generated art adds a unique touch. I recently did something similar by blending a candid shot of my dog with some abstract AI art. The result was a quirky piece that now hangs in my living room. To showcase it, I uploaded the image to my digital picture frame (I use a Nixplay), so it rotates with other photos and always brings a smile to my face. It's a great way to blend personal memories with creative expression. Have you considered printing any of your AI-enhanced photos?

I think if I were a female I would be very flattered to be portrayed as a Warrior Princess.

About the closest I've gotten to photo art is making Valentine's Day cards.

Closest I get is manipulated art and photos;
Stickers for my electric golf cart business and sticker for my wife's firefighter support dog.
I used to do more when I had photoshop, but that's all gone now.... darn microsoft.

Nice!

In my opinion, (worth beans, I know), once you manipulate it, it is no longer a photo, but still art nonetheless. (y)

I'm still in the 'make the settings, push the button, see what you get' school of photography. 🙃

I'm impressed with some AI work, until it's passed off as "real", with out any disclaimer (esp the teeny tiny notations at the bottom of TV screens)...

Wow. Very cool work. What programs are some to get started playing with?

Here is one I did today.

My GF's picture I took with my canon 7D a few years ago. The face is real and the eyes on the wolf are copies of her left eye. Everything else is AI generated with prompts I gave it. Then I send it to Adobe lightroom for some masking and shadow work, then back to photoshop to finish.

She likes this one best so far.

Very cool indeed. Hoping to make up something for my granddaughters baby picture soon.

I did this today. I call it "Leader of the pack"

I darked her eyes then adjusted the overall color to a cooler blue to make the scene more ominous. Then I added the wolf crest which I also made in AI.

If you ain't doing this as a business/side hustle you should think about it. Awesome work.

Thanks, I just do it to kill time and it's fun. I would not know what to charge for something like this.

Generally 3-4X your hourly rate + expenses (software is an expense as is computer, electricity etc). If you can gain any income from it you can then deduct your expenses from your taxes and what ever percentage of your home/office electric bill, property taxes. Just declare your earned income from that work. You don't have to show a profit for at least 3 years.

I'm not a cpa though but easy enough to enquire about the aspect.

Just saying... :)

I have an idea for my granddaughter I been wanting to do. Hoping sooner than later even though she was just born she'll be in college before you know it.
