This was an Elan, Bombardier's smallest sled in the '70's.My bravo is vintage enough for me, I could've got my hands on a old Olympic 300 the other day but it was not the original paint and how many sled do one guy need so I let it pass... they are fun but only once the trail had been done. One of my buddy do a vintage sled rally every year, its a lot of fun but again I get pretty much the same feeling with my bravo plus it can drive through the snow easier.
There she is the old olympic I could’ve bought, my friend bought it

Bolens, '73 Panther, Yamaha, El Tigre... I can't see enough of the rest but is the second from the end an old Evinrude?

Edit; the one before that looks like an old
Cat... Perhaps a Pantera?
do you have pictures of that beauty ? I didn't even know John deere ever been in the snowmobile game.I’ve always wanted to replace my John Deere Spitfire, but it snows so little here anymore
Everybody made snowsleds back in the '70s. Evinrude, Johnson, Mercury, all got into the game. Plus there were hundreds of smaller companies which either failed or merged with somebody else. Now there are only two remaining; Polaris and Bombardier.do you have pictures of that beauty ? I didn't even know John deere ever been in the snowmobile game.

My cousin had a Harley Davidson sled which he would have given to me, but I didn't have a place to store it at the time. I believe they were about as reliable as the bikes of that vintage...when AMF owned the company.
I just found this old Yamaha last week. It was left in the backwoods of my property that we bought a few years back. It looks to be pretty well complete, not sure what size it is. Bonus is that I found an old disc close by as well. I might take some time to pull them out of the woods this spring.
Not mine, but similardo you have pictures of that beauty ? I didn't even know John deere ever been in the snowmobile game.
