I took recommendations from y'all and had FitRite help me out. Awesome job and these are much better than the Pat's IMO...

I find them much nicer then a quick hitch, enjoy them.

Great choice! These work awesome and are very very reliable.

Ok..a little help please. My son uses his 3pt hitch much much more than me. What is the purpose of these? I see how the open 'hook' is better then messing with aligning and sliding on the standard arms but why is the Euro different then Quick hitch? And would I need to put these flared ends on all attachments to prevent sliding off of the arms?

A full 3pt quick hitch requires the same exact mounting position on every implement that you have. The Euro hooks can accomodate different hitch widths on the implement. It is very common for older implements to not have the std cat 1 or cat 2 widths for the connection points. But the correct width is sometimes found even with today's implements. 😞

The flared connection balls simply make it easier to connect, that are not required at all for keeping the Euro hooks connected to the implement balls. When the hook is latched onto the implement ball, it will not fall off.

Last thing, not having the cross bar of the full 3pt quick hitch in the way, it is typically easier to connect PTO shafts. (y)

I'm understanding. Yes, the quick hitch is a 'framed' assembly
I didnt think of that. These euros secure to the ends ofbthe standard arms so they are capable of and different width attachment.
Does every attachment need receiving ends (balls?) for the euro Arms? I looked up euro connector but only see the end that attaches to the arms. Nothing about add-ons to each attachment.
Thanks

Edited..no need to respond. This video answered it all.

The video you linked to are for the Pat's hooks they are quite different then the Euro hooks.
The Pat's hooks secure to the ends of your existing 3 pt lower arms.

The Euro hooks replace the eye of the lift arm with a hook I believe that at one time Fit Rite Hydraulics - fitritehydraulics.com offered them.
Otherwise Agristore offers them, you cut the ball ends off and weld the Euro hooks on.

These are on my Branson 8050 and I also have a top link with the hook, I usually back in lift the arms to engage the implement, lower the top link with the attached rope and lift the implement. Then get out to connect hydraulics, the pto and raise the implement stand.

As far as the balls you can buy a few to install and keep a spare pair around, most of my implements have the balls set on the pins so I don't need to mess around with them.

No, did i send the wrong one? I saw one that explains why the guy didnt use the Pats. He described all the pros and cons. He did a great job. I watched a few, I might have posted the wrong one. Sorry

I see nothing different on how the Euro mounts work than how the Pat's QH works. They even look the same. And you have to cut off part of the OE equipment and weld new pieces on. I absolutely love my Pat's hitch and see absolutely no advantage here.... What am I missing?
