Sassy in the snow is like a upside down boat with very little freeboard.
would only take a few inches of snow to be uncomfortable
many dogs love the snow
doesn't seem like cats like it much

it's really nice that many of TBN members are further North, and those who don't get snow get
to enjoy it a little. Like those of you in the desert right now.
NHBX seems to be in the thick of it while you just sort of expect it in Canada.
of course for snow we should enlist someone who lives in Buffalo or Erie.

let's see, earthquakes and fire? That's RNG's beat...;)
am curious to see if cost of lettuce goes up for RNG when they grow it not far away.

I've always wished we had someone with a sun bleached blue patina Ford
doing rear rake work on miles of beaches on a Bahamian island.
I've still got my hands up for that job.

Good morning, the low is 19 and going to a high of 32°F. Wind SSW 11 mph. Periods of snow with possible freezing rain.

I'll probably go out about noon and scrape the 1" of snow and ice off the driveways.

Drew, I do like the snow. It breaks up the year. We get 6 months of snow and cold and 6 months of crummy sledding. Besides that in winter there are no bugs.

Time to turn the block heater on and get on with my day.

Stay safe all

Good Morning from Central Texas.
At 5:15am 63 degrees, 62 dew point. Today near 80, remainder of the week 80+.

The USAF rank insignia, divided between "enlisted" and "officers" grades
appear below. Just in case you see someone walking about. :)

Spike, I remember my fathers' gold oak leaf, not sure if he got silver.
Air Force intelligence working in China helping get supplies over the Hump.
obviously he wouldn't talk much about it. But he did remember the .45 1901 he was issued (as an officer?) and he
shot it off at Japanese planes one day. That sure would have had to be a lucky shot on a low flying plane....

Do we have separate intelligence operations for all the services now?
plus the Pentagon. Have no idea how my father chose AirForce, he was a young lawyer and
volunteered when war broke out. So did his younger brother, my Uncle, who went on to be a Captain in Navy.
What a generation. They saved democracy from tyrants.

D worked in army intelligence It had a lot to do with using existing intelligence reports and draw out what the army generals needed to know for a particular operation
