I wonder if Tasmania is the only place one can find wine faeries.
do they have little wings?;)

radar says it's supposed to be snowing but nothing reaching the ground yet.
will just have to see what the morning brings

on the way home from taking my friend to PT
this afternoon screen went blank on nav and both navigation and radio had died.
the black screen of death. That head unit is caput.
worse you go to crutchfield and there is no way to replace it with anything because of systems integration.
I sent a photo of blank screen to dealer and told them I'd call them tomorrow morning.

had some delicious home made chicken soup by my friend's wife with home made soda bread.
then yogurt and blueberries for dessert.
been a long day, don't think I'll last long

'Tis a magical place, so it's possible.

We do have the cleanest air in the world. I'm not making that up either; the official readings are taken at Cape Grim in the NW.

Good evening all. 38ºF for the start, overcast. .2 inch in gauge, light breeze. Light wind, overcast all day, and high temp was 41ºF. Made coffee to start day, Grief Share, cleaned ashes, started fire in insert, worked on minutes for ICVFD, and had to do article for ICVFD. Helping Hands raises fund for local organizations like ICVFD so went to presentation meeting for for the board, and received donation for the Department. No ride and no nap :(.
Two_bit missed an opportunity there, betting a BBQ plate.
Ron glad Sassy got her exercise. Hope tow bar project went well. Neat pic. I agree, power cycle should have been first on app!
Bill hope plowing went well.
NHBX hope puttering went well. To bad you can't get just the straps on the yaktrax. I think most people agree staying upright when slippery good thing.
Buppies sorry about the running out of insulin part. I am very thankful no medication required yet :) prayers sent.
Billy hope you are ready for snow. Wish it was that easy with the raccoons.
Drew hope trip to PT went smoothly and no early snow. When my GPS died id got to a point where screen would not function at all. Thanks for the compliment. I definitely helps.
Buppies glad you got to see show :)
Mike enjoy your snow. Glad boss canceled meeting in town. Hope animals are doing well.
Drew did learn to drive on snow/ice on HS parking lot. There wer lots of people playing around on the lot :)
Thomas has someone taken your temperature? Hope you got snow off roof and feel better soon.
Scott(Vt) glad you got your walk, hope you got walk with your wife. Sorry return is so soon. Exercise does burn off calories.
Paul good luck with the thread cutting. Never was a big fan of thread wires, would cheat and use blade anvil mike. Hope breakfast went well. Training class for Zoe?
Ken hope you are ready for snow, pic doesn't look inviting.
Frits sorry to hear about brother. My condolences to you and his family. Prayers sent. Hospice will likely have material to help family grieve, I do recommend grief share program if available. $400 for prescription is way beyond ouch!!
Happy(NC) hope you get genny, torches and welder down by bridge site. Sorry sensors not working.
Dennis sorry using TV app for youtube not so good.
David glad HH and food both terrific. Hope tractor maintenance went well and more good results with tiller.
PJ hope not too much ice in the mess tomorrow. Funny you learned at school lot as well.
Dennis had a nephew learn to drive like you. He did struggle with lane marking for a bit :( . Glad son took day off.
Dennis sorry son lost whole day.
Frits thanks for sharing pics. Hope you can enjoy the snow.
Scott(VT) sorry to hear about your friend. My condolences to you and his family. prayers sent.
Mike hope you are ready for that much snow.
Randy(wag) glad more rain in the gauge. Hope town trip wen well especially the registration for truck. Hope you get to door repair soon.
Billy sorry roads got bad before you got home I don't like the whit knuckle driving.
Drew I would wager there are several families on the fairies list in this neighborhood. Not surprised at screen dying. Chicken soup for dinner.
Scott(VT) the worst problem is the dealer Drew has to work with. I had the same problem with my Nav unit, got fixed in one trip to dealer.
Randy(wag) glad the magic is real :)

...edit...it is a snow plow off the road. Unbelievable....
Been there, done that.
Was in snow plow one night, 2 in the truck at night, working winter break while in college. Got stuck somewhere on a road in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere. Before cell phones, no radios. Don't remember how we got unstuck. Might have been the same day, while driving in to work a snow plow, my car slid sideways off the road and over the bank as I was getting over to let a snow plow get by. Right before the garage where I worked. top of car came to rest against a fence post, that kept it from totally rolling over. Coworkers all stopped to help, opened my driver door straight up, climbed out of car. Whoever let the door close, it fell straight down and busted the glass. Got the car pulled out without too much damage. Drove that car for several years later.

20 miles on the bike today.

been working on my class stuff, didn't realize it was after midnight.

2" snow so far

good morning all
up way too early but it's been an interesting night
heard scratching scrabbling sound
took me a while to localize it, coming from bathroom.
investigated in there and found my container of spare toilet paper nibbled on.
ok, out comes the mouse trap
snap
snap
snap

three mice found my peanut butter irresistible
so waking up every hour to hear a mouse meet its end sort of did in my REM sleep so might as well stay up.

snow has stopped, about an inch, should be easy shoveling this morning
almost 50 degrees tomorrow so this will all melt with lots of rain coming in.
going to be pretty mushy out there though ground has been frozen

Scott, it's clear that I need a new infotainment head unit on the car but they aren't going to spend that much money, even for a refurb, without
having me jump through diagnostic hoops. All covered by warranty, just annoying dealing with folks you can't trust at all.

Ron's coffee must be on its way right about now

Poured first cup of coffee. 16° with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 27° with heavy snowfall. Did not get tow bar modified. Came up with a different plan on that project. Put it towbar away and ordered parts for new plan. Topped off bird feeders and made sure I had a good supply on back porch. Going to do grocery shopping this morning. Will stop at township offices and pay winter property taxes while out. Hope to be back home before snow starts. If forecaster are correct we will have 12" by Saturday.

Good Morning All.

I'm going to be 75 in a month, and coincidentally my sister will be moved into her digs in Princeton by then, barely, and i know
she intends to take me out to dinner. So I need to think about where to go. Probably in Princeton which i really know nothing about.
likely everything is very expensive and noisy, typical for college town. I'd rather get fancy take out and eat back at her place.

having gone through a rough patch five years ago, didn't have high expectations for making this birthday.
Feel like I'm going into bonus innings and grateful for that.

a foot of snow Ron, wow. Your Kubotas will be humming.
apparently that's going to be a lot of rain here
also means a lot more snow for Thomas and NHBX

always reminds me of Hill Street Blues
last words to squad before they filed out
Be careful out there

but have fun too, try to stay dry and warm somehow if you don't have a cab.
