Good Morning!!!! 43F @ 6:45AM. Areas of fog early, then partly cloudy this afternoon. High 66F. Winds NW at 15 to 25 mph.
Not that I'm thinking of moving to Texas, Kyle, but why would you penalize people moving to Texas by requiring them to pay property taxes if the "been theres" don't? I think I'd be more concerned about how Texas is going to pay for the goods and services that are currently funded by property taxes. Are there shortages of goods and services that can be attributed to a large influx of new mouths to feed? Are you worried that state politics might swing to the left? All you have to do to discourage migration to Texas is show 'em some photos of your cracked mud pastures, fire ant hills, and pickup trucks with gun racks in the back windows.
I did get the last pallet of firewood stacked yesterday. The stack is now a few inches higher than the 6' board fence, so I hope the back neighbors don't complain. All they can see is a silver tarp, but this is the 'burbs.
Also got a few things on order from Amazon, not much else accomplished. Need to mop out van, then make a dump run and probably get a few more ads up. Not sure what else I'll get into.
Hope everybody's week gets started in the right direction...
