Mowed a section of land on neighbors property

If this happened on my property, I would be very pleased if the offender manned up and knocked on my door to explain what happened before I came upon it myself.

I agree. If it was just a trail, no big deal. But since he has been cutting there for 8 years, an explanation is in order.

This thread makes me glad all my property lines are either a road or family.

Actually two of my property lines are a road.
It would have been nice for the land surveyor to have notified me that the neighbors barbed wire fence was 10 ft inside of his property on a 100 ft stretch.
In 7 yrs I've talked to the neighbor twice. Nice people.

I'm the good neighbor.
I'm doing the neighbor a solid by keeping brush and limbs away from his barbed wire fence in a 100 ft stretch.

Does the dog's owner know you are feeding their dog? Maybe the dog is on a special diet and they would not want the neighbor feeding THEIR pet. I sure wouldn't want a neighbor enticing my animal to the edge of the property either.

For goodness sake! Some of you posters are looking for drama.

If the dog was on a special diet the neighbor wouldn't let the dog roam free. I've seen the dog roll around in poop.

"Good Fences make for Good Neighbors". I really don't 'care' if I'm a 'great neighbor'. My property, my taxes, my "IRA", my heritage.
Around here, neighbors, their kids, their relatives, utility workers, campers, fruit trees raiders, and weed growers take advantage of every opportunity to piss on other people's properties and possessions. However, no longer at my place. We wave "Hello !" every day. It's the 'neighbors' with your attitude that need the warning.

Just curious what do the utility workers in your area do to "piss on your property and possessions"?

The neighbor likely set his fence back to avoid conflict and upsetting his neighbors and now you would even suggest taking that setback from him ?
