55 deg. out, turned pellet stove off.
Got the stone out of the yard from pushing snow.
Need to buy 2 fence posts for the split rail, the wind last week knocked one rotted one over. I keep replacing 1 or so a year. Had one break at the ground late fall, and I put a T post next to it to hold it. Will probably buy a spare, wish I could find locust ones, not these PT ones.
Just found a place up in PA, above lancaster, that sells locust split rail posts, $34 each I think he said. PT at HD are $18 ea... Hard decision, these PT ones have lasted almost 20 yrs.
got my bike miles in.

I like the sound of the electric pump, too, to avoid the overhead and noise of a compressor. Can you point me in the direction of the setup you found?
Here is what I got. Works well.

Good Evening Dennis,
Need to buy 2 fence posts for the split rail, the wind last week knocked one rotted one over.
I have to agree with you, for the price the PT posts last a long time ! I’m not sure I could ever realize the benefits of locust posts at my age ! 😂

Good (Tuesday) morning. Overnight Low of 11.3C and it's presently 23.4C, mostly sunny & fairly calm.

Yesterday's Dentist visit went pretty much as expected = yes, the tooth is cracked and can't be 'saved'. The Dentist that 'can' perform an extraction will be available on Monday and I've made an appointment for that arvo. It's all part of living in a small town... I'm just grateful that St Helens is 'big enough' to have a Dental practice.

Besides that, I've 'put up' with the tooth for a couple of months so one more week won't be a burden.

So, this arvo I should get at mowing around the house, driveway & front paddock.

That's about it, take care all.

Yes, but saw a nice restaurant up there I want to try, so will probably go and buy 3 or 4, later in week.

Coffee is brewing. 34° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 49° with partly sunny skies. All the drains are flowing aways from buildings as they should. Had to break some ace away for a couple of them. Got boom pole adapter completed yesterday. Took it out to woods and pulled a couple of log out. Even got it painted. Today I will put it back together. Then cleanup shop and put tools away. No other plans for today.

Good morning, the low is 32 and going to a high of 36°F. Wind WSW 3 mph. Cloudy.

Today is a dump/town run and then back here to plow. Basically clean up the mountain of snow that came off the roof. It landed right where we put the snow off the deck, which we use to get in and out of the front door. One of my piles of snow is going to get bigger today.

Have a safe day all

35 going to 66 and sunny.

NHBX, our smelly skunk was out yesterday morning. I went out with the flashlight but couldn't find him.

Mostly, I didn't see any fish in the pond, but did see a couple of beer cans. :(

Spent some time with son and granddaughter before they left for home. Gave my coffee roaster its best cleaning ever. Ready to roast, but need to change the oil in my truck first.

good morning all
59 degrees today, sure will feel nice
nothing on the calendar for today
I'd love to turn the water back on outside to use the hose, wash the car, etc but temps are going back down soon enough.

I tried to clean out the veggie garden yesterday morning and stuff was still frozen. Should be loosened up today, will do some
garden prep. Basically any excuse to stay outside.
decided to simplify veggies this year, no squash vs more radishes and lettuce. Will always grow some peppers and tomatoes.
plus I have six rose bushes coming in, some to climb over new fence and some to stand alone. I did order an expensive (for me)
dwarf rose tree for front yard, need to put it out in the sun as much of front of property is shaded. And roses like their sun.
And their fertilizer, which I also ordered.

three years of planting bulbs has paid off, lots of Spring flowers getting ready to pop up.
front gardens still full of leaves, might work on that today. I left them in there to add insulation for freezing but think
we're past the extra cold time now.

am hoping Ted and Dona are doing ok. Will send him a private note.

Good morning TBN!!

28 this morning and going to a glorious low 70s with sun!
Had a pretty good day yesterday. I wen to the corner and rooted around for some metal for torch project. Decided against the stretch metal for the base as I need to weld on upright for lifting and need all the anchor points I can get.
Also got my buggy project out of the garage so I have some room to work :)
Plan today is to get an eye exam and pick out glasses. Ashamed of the ones I have. Been an optician for
50 years but haven't gotten new since I retired about 4 years ago. Gonna be a new experience to pay retail use insurance etc. Much needed.
Other then that I will have to see what I get in to.

Time for a second cup.
Everyone have a great and safe day!!

Thanks for the photo, Happy. Do you think the hydraulic cylinder would work if it were inverted? That's the way the one on my press is mounted, so I'd have to cobble together the base and springs to mimic how yours is
I don't really know. I did it the way I did because the old one was upright and the is an indent at the top that the plunger slips in to. It would need the top plate reworked in order to put it upside down.
The thought to flip it never occurred to me. I like the way it works though.

   / Good morning!!!! #203,760
good morning, 38 going to 55 nice weather

Going to the appointment for the injured finger this morning. Will be nice to get the splint off that is always in the way

Changing my work out to focus more on upper body strength. Daily work out routine is working good
