After this next week we may be past the ice and snow and salt, so the timing is working out very well. As a 50-year change agent, I wanted to develop my high-end shop to take care of the growing number of Tesla's in town so that we do not have to go 150 mi to Nashville, etc

They did a great job on the Nissan leaf when it got totaled in the accident that the leaf flipped the Toyota van onto its roof. The same shop did an excellent job of matching the paint on the rear end of the Tesla after I backed into it with the side-by-side. As the number of EVS on the road continue to grow year by year our small town I decided needed a dedicated body shop to quality that had EV experience. This should help drive new and used Tesla sales in Murray, Kentucky and the surrounding area cuz a lot of people don't think you can get body work done on Teslas in their neighborhood.

I think the answer is there, in a round-about way: He wasn't looking for a more timely solution.

His aim was to push his existing shop toward becoming able to deal with Tesla, so they're better able to handle the next one, not finding the quickest solution to getting this one car repaired.
