Home depotI found a couple of yellow balls on extending rods with magnets on the other end. One on the hitch, and one on the ball, and I can get really close without being able to see either the hitch or the ball.
I have not seen a Huskee log splitter in that configuration. Do you not need a vertical position? Thanks for that post jigs_n_fixtures !! I have a 2" Reese hitch on my winch so I can pull my trailer and a 1-1/2" Reese on the back of the trailer so I can bring my splitter along. I can't see either one so getting hooked up requires several or more trips on and off the tractor to make little adjustments. Your ball idea sounds like it would be a big help. I'm gona try it.

Looks like it's hand a vertical capability in its past; my guess is he doesn't have that big of rounds and prefers to be able to split and toss straight into the trailer?I have not seen a Huskee log splitter in that configuration. Do you not need a vertical position?
