Working on a kioti ck 27
It gets all gears but when putting in 2nd gear as soon you let clutch out it pops out of gear
We pulled side of trans cover and checked the synchro assys in all 3 and they look good=there was no shavings
found when draining oil and all looks good=Any ideas=thinking maybe shifter kiyoi 001.JPG

I'm not an expert but it looks like you are in neutral in that picture. I would shift into 2nd so you can see which gear it is. Chances are the small teeth that the ring slides onto are worn. I can't tell from the picture but I'm guessing that you'll have to change the ring that slides, the brass plate, the ring that aligns it with the gear and the gear itself. But you are going to have to remove it and take it all apart to do a close inspection. Once you shift into 2nd you'll know which one is bad so you can compare it to a good one.

The gear on the upper left doesn’t appear to be lined up correctly. Also the syncro seems to have more room then the others. I would look for a missing/broken pin or washer that would hold/push that shaft back together.

I’m not an expert on tractor transmissions, but I’d say pay special attention to the shifter pivot point and the inserts in the shift forks. A little slop in a couple places adds up, and you won’t get full engagement in one or more gears. The result is it will pop out of gear because it was never fully engaged.

I have the transmission out of my CK27 with 500 hrs on it.
Tractor would stick in reverse, I need synchro rings on the shuttle shift.
The tractor as been split, with the transmission out in my shop for two month waiting for parts. I was originally told parts were in stock in Charlotte
Now they tell me there are no rings to be had. I have a small machine shop at my house so I will make a pair. The rings will be very time consuming to make. I am frustrated with Kioti
Getting the transmission out is a challenge, if you have never done one. I would make sure you have parts you think you need in hand prior to taking apart.
For you issues, on the shuttle shift there are detents to keep in, if you have no issues shifting into desired gear. Or coming out of gear when you want to. I would suspect your synchro rings are good.
I know this an old post, just ranting

I have never had a tractor with synchro trannie. But I have worked on several 4 and 5-sp auto trannies back when I was into 240Zs.

When the trannies get tons of miles on them, the shifter detent slots on the rods would get some wear. New shifter rods and balls cleared up this problem for me.

When the trannie bearings were worn, I could get the trans to come out of gear by rocking the car in gear, forward-to-reverse. There was enough slop to move the gears just enough to disengage.
