Not to sidetrack the thread....but if Ford doesn't put a 6' bed on the Rangers......I won't be getting another one.

What will you buy?

Nissan or Toyota.

Does ANYONE make a mid-sized truck with a 6' bed anymore? The bed on some of the newer tacomas I've seen can't be more than 3' long...why even bother? The others aren't much better.
Sheesh, hard enough to find a full size truck with a 6' bed.

It's kind of crazy. I do not need a full size truck but I want a bed at least 6'.
I think that not only looks the best but offers a way to haul 8' material.
And it's small enough for my wife to drive and large enough for what I need a truck for.
I haul a small cargo trailer from time to time for my handyman jobs..but often the 6' bed is enough for what I need.
a 5' bed would force me to use the trailer all of the time....and that's not often convenient especially in the winter or in areas where parking is an issue.

Toyota Tacoma comes with a 6' bed but I can find them only in 2wd and for $41,000.00. If they have the model on their lot. If they don't have them on their lot this week when the new tariffs take effect they will be an extra $10,000.00 more.

No snow here expect a few small piles where the plowing piled it up and mainly the ones that are in the shade. But far, far from green. Quite a difference from the UP even here...

I think we'll be looking at a larger truck when our ranger goes since we are looking at property out of town, hence city driving would be less common and some extra tow capacity would be nice. New truck will need to have knobs for all controls. I do not like this touch screen.

We're kinda in the same boat, that is those full sized ones are like being a helmsman while going down a narrow river...

Yeah, my son called up telling me about the Ford Ranger Super Duty which includes a 3.0-liter turbo diesel V6 engine, heavy-duty axles, and a reinforced chassis.
Just what I want to supplement my F350 dually w/ 8' bed.
But only in Australia

I believe the new Rangers showed up in Australia and Mexico before they came to USA and Canada.
