If you are in the market for a Summit tractor you may want to check out Home Depot. My local one in Apex, NC has one at a major reduction (30% off) from list price. It’s still there as of today if you’re interested. I just bought a Kioti otherwise I’d be really tempted myself.

I see Atwoods has dropped the price as well from the $19,499 Summit advertised price. Atwood's can now sell online and ship anywhere in the USA.

I think they partnered with Home Depot to sell these but obviously not moving them. Suspect Home Depot wants to move inventory and if the partnership is over they can drop the price and move them. I would worry about aftermarket support but it is a decent tractor especially for that price.

So.... to possibly stir the pot a bit. Roughly last year the Home Depot down in Rome, Ga started stocking a couple to three of these tractors out front their store. About the same time Summit Tractor put in a final assembly facility about 10 minutes south of Rome on 411.

Tractors have been gone from the Home Depot for a couple months now AND, while it used to be findable on Google Maps the assembly facility I mentioned no longer shows up.

Rumor mill aside, the machines I saw at Home Depot did look pretty nice (as in everything looked over built to save on engineering costs). For the original price point they also came with some nice features such as rear remotes and aux front remotes above and beyond those necessary to run the loader the machines came with.
