The last one doesn't count, she is not working.
Solo sailing all over the world? That's usually an all-male endeavor. And whether you're doing it for sport or as a career, believe me... it's hard work!

Side note: many of the big global races now have a female quota, such as each boat must have at least 1 or 2 female crew. I guess that old superstition of women on working boats bringing back luck has been disproven?

One thing technology has taken away from those of us who used to drive the PA Turnpike everyday for work, is the cute college toll takers. Every summer, back when I was in my 20's, our toll booths used to repopulate with 20 year old girls on summer break from the local colleges. It was always a glorious time of year, until September when middle-aged Phyllis would resume her post, with her Pal Mal's and sour disposition.

Now with EZ Pass and other electronic toll taking, we've put these poor 20-something year old girls out of a job!

You all know them: Farmer Graycee, Emily Reeves from Flying Sparks Garage, and all the other attractive women out there doing "man's work". If you don't find 'em cute or entertaining, well... I just don't know what's wrong with you.

My favorite of the moment seems to be Katelyn Johnson, with her "tree_being" channel:

I would like to see these women on a logging crew and see how well they can hold up day in and day out.
I saw a girl tech working at Discount Tire as she was changing tires and ask one of the men techs that I've never seen a woman do this work.
They remarked that she calls out sick a lot and can't be dependable.
I'm proud to do the man's work at home and let my wife do the woman's work.

An older gal at a large machine shop I worked at worked in the tool crib and was very good at the job. I also know of women pipefitters, electricians, tinners, and carpenters that could hold their own. Then there was the one millwright gal that could go toe to toe with the best of them. (y)
