Getting the sand spread today.

This is after the sand is spread. It's probably a little more than we needed. And they mowed it as short as he could yesterday. If we get the rain that is predicted for the next few days, it won't look so much like a beach.

If it rains, you won't be able to see much of the sand in 10-14 days. This field does not have irrigation. We have a good chance of rain over the next few days.

Went till the football field we are renovating today. I was hoping to start laser grading today, but you can see in the video it started to rain just as I was finishing the tilling.

Got the sweeps all installed and tried them out today. I put the 10" sweeps on the 2 center shanks and left the 6" sweeps on the 4 outer shanks. Not sure which configuration I will end up with. The 10" seem to have lots of soil build up on them.

I wonder if a bar of harrow teeth on them might work better, like a soil pulverizer has. It might break up the soil better.

Another option might be to look at curved wing sweeps, they might hold less dirt.
