Good morning
67° with passing showers. Got about 1/4” of rain so far. Temp’s not supposed to change much.

Yesterday was a nice paced, generally slow moving day started with getting a load of mulch (which is still in the dump trailer). Mulch yard is less than mile down the road, I just haul the trailer with the tractor.

When I looked outside I saw the resident under this shed out on the porch. As long as they don’t cause any damage, I leave them alone.

Son came up to fly RC, I joined him, grandson was sitting in the workman.

Didn’t accomplish much more, a little work on the computer, some tweaks to the camera server, had fun playing music, just three of us, bass guitar and drums. Played a wide variety of songs from the Ventures, Hank Sr, Ricky Nelson, Chris Isaak, Buddy Holly and old blues standards.

No plan for today, be interesting to see what comes up.

Been a week. Got way behind. Hope I didn't miss too much.

Autistic daughter has been very problematic. Our state doesn't have the best services for mental patients anymore. It is a toss up whether you can restrict a person's rights of liberty (when they haven't committed a crime) vs letting them remora scavenge off of society. She has become combative to guidance and won't let us tell her anything. We blame online videos for much of our dilemna. We take her "screens" away for discipline, yet she remains defiant and hateful. She can be nice when she wants something. This disease is just as bad as alzheimers IMO, because it starts at an early age and now they are saying 1 in 32 can get it.

Billy, sounds like a towing racket. I'd go back and post exacting signs about parking. Seems the state would not allow a group of homes on a road to deny a few parking spaces. But sure the homeowners would like NO traffic on their road...

Lifted my 16ft trailer on jack stands to crawl underneath and zip tie the wiring better. Spun the wheels and checked them for looseness. 1 needed the axle nut tightened 1 notch.

Works been busy, life has been busy. Took mother to cardio testing. They even did an esophogeal ultrasound scan. TEE for short.
May 6 is for consulting about whether to go ahead with the mitral valve clip surgery.

Prayers for our team, especially Buppies and wifey, Ted and wifey.

Ron, we took our tame mallard to the city pond last night, where there was at least 1 other duck, maybe more. I couldn't see well at night. He was getting too amorous, wanting to make whoopee with everything that moved.

One of the bright spots of my week. Picked about 4-5 lbs of dewberries.

Morning all, Going up to 72. Rain
Got 2 tomatoes and 1 sweet pepper planted.

We lost power for a few hours, easy enough to spot why when I went down to the mailbox.

Son gets home 1:15am tomorrow morning, guess that made the flight cheaper.

Another fight with the insurance company on the car insurance. Too many hours on the phone.
So did not get to take brushcutter out, now too wet from rain

Dog has been to the vet and an animal hospital, they can only sedate her....how do they treat seizures ?

Riptides, guess I won't complain about the distances I do with the weedwhacker and brushcutter, 3 miles is quite the task, time for something on 4 wheels with a motor or a 3pt hookup.

Don't know what I will do today,

Be well,

A very common occurrence here.

in between the rain drops quick trip downtown to get four bags of
hardwood mulch which is really all I need since the beds have been kept up.
plus I got a centerpiece plant for new outdoor table.

no other plans today other than going to dinner at brother's home.

Kyle, you always hope it will get better, sorry it's not, can't imagine the strain this puts on you two.
Pretty much defines caregiver fatigue
But she'll always be your baby.
hope you get more help

six years ago attended Beaufort Co Ag extension event where they showed us how hemp was planted.
at that time, expectations were for double to triple the revenue per acre, which was offset somewhat by
expensive "legal" seed and regulatory guidelines. Wonder how that all turned out.

Kyle, the help with mental issues was not better back when we were there dealing with it in Houston. The company health insurance helped and the CEO leaning on the insurance provider was invaluable.
Hope you can find some help

We have taken Cody to the vets several times and also did the MRI hearth scans to rule that out. With a frequency of one to two episodes a year nothing is recommended. More often there is medicine to reduce the frequency somewhat. Had a kid with seizures that were given medicine. It did not help a whole lot

Good Afternoon,
Just a parting shot of what my neighbor will be mowing with that 4 ft mower and 20 hp. He will have plenty of seat time that’s for sure 😂 you don’t even see all of the property from where I took the picture on my north hedge row 😉
