I haven't seen or heard anything, so I don't know about this, but my dealership owner was telling me John Deere is eyeing up Argo to purchase it?

I saw that and its good news... I wonder what they will do for 4 stroke engines, that will be interesting to see. I also hope they make smaller and affordable sled, (300 to 440cc sleds) that is now a untap market.

That is true, Ski Doo NEO Series, has come out as New Smaller Less Pricey way to hit the Snow, but they have just made the Machines the Size they once were. Not everyone needs 144/154" Tracks with 2" Paddles to go Ice Fishing or check Fence Lines. The Elan was once Ski Doo's biggest seller, and are still sought after basic sleds, 280 lb, 110" Track, 12hp, 30 mph that floated on snow and fit in the box of a truck. I think they once sold for $499 assembled (boggies flipped over and skis installed).

I grew up on Sleds, 74 400 Olympic, 80 3500 Citation, 79 300 Enticer, 81 4500 Citation, 81 7500 Blizzard, 83 9700 Blizzard, 2-92 Skandics, 94 583 Summit. But I am not about to spend $15k+ a Trailer, to get back into the sport.

That's exactly it they made it unaffordable for ''kids'' to get into it, a few (many now) years Yamaha had the Bravo and Skidoo had the Taundra but now the bravo is no longer and the taundra is now a 600cc starting at $10 000...
