You Know You Are Old When

When Grandma passed I found grandpas old camera not realizing it still had film inside…

On a whim took it to a photo lab and had it developed… got several good pictures of the grandparents vacation at Tahoe circa 1950… 50 years in the camera.

When I first started seeing my wife she told me that if I was either bald or had any tattoos that would be a hard no. I'm not, and don't. Other than that she's very accepting of my quirks.
The irony here is that about 5 years ago she and her sister went on a "girls weekend", and both of them came back with tattoos!

Lol. Be glad she didn't shave her head too.

A few years ago wife & I driving through New England stopped at L.L. Bean in Freeport and I asked for spruce gum. There was a pause then lady asked how old I was, saying they quit selling it 40 years ago.

Over my lifetime I have lost many fuel caps and tools setting them on the tractor tire and forgetting about it....

I've lost a lot of things over the years but one day I left my good pocketknife on the bumper of my truck. It was in a somewhat secluded location but nothing special.

Took a 70 mile round trip, came back and then remembered I didn't have my knife. While grimacing for a moment, I looked in a wishful way and the pocketknife was still on the bumper of my truck. A Toyota Tundra.

20 years later and I still have that knife.
