The drivers are very impressive. Our road is just like yours. Pretty much a single lane gravel road and how the pipe trucks navigated it was hard to believe. They were never the issue either, but the crews that have been up and down the road have very poor "driving manors." Several of use have been in ditches or even hit by them. Its been an issue.

They have already pushed aside the topsoil, seeded and strawed it, and dug the trench across our farm, and have pipe ready to go in the hole. Now it's up to how fast the welders can work. 3 loads of pipe came today.

still getting a lot of trespassing at the farm, every weekend they drive right past the No Tresspass signs.
The silt fence they put up prohibits closing the gate, but might need to Go one weekend and sit out there and wait.

We've always had a lot of issues with people trespassing to hunt. Used to have a small collection of tree stands in the barn from people "not knowing where the line was." Have issues now with people shed hunting.
I know they aren't cheap but the satellite connected game cameras are a good idea. A month ago I helped a buddy set one up in his mother's woods. Father passed last spring so many know he is not around to keep people out. We have caught 3 different trespasser since.

I wonder why the pipeline work would trigger trespassing. Any thoughts?

All the best,

Peter

Out of town people now in the area... a lot of activity so assuming landowners wouldn't notice... new access...
There are a different possibilities.

Curious probably, but can’t read the signs. One guy parked behind our barn and went hunting after I told him no. He came at 5 am one Saturday. He got a note left on his vehicle.
We are at the end of the road, which ends at our mailbox. This new gravel farm lane, looks like a road, despite the signs that say otherwise.

You're much nicer than me. I'd have called the sheriff and DNR/GFP or whatever agency in your area handles hunting. It would be different maybe if you hadn't said no already.

Pipelines open up easy traveling for those that disregard private property. When the NG lines went in on this farm we had issues with snowmobilers and wheelers coming all the way through then travel on the main roads. Years and trees falling have shut those down.

They are supposed to put fences back. But since we don’t have cows now, who knows if they will.
To the north, line will go down a steep hill. Pipeline company supposed to maintain their ROW.
