I saw a picture of the ship and they put on a display with the lights and all. They have a lot of people aloft holding arms and several dozen standing on the yardarms this way. I don’t know if they were doing this before they hit the bridge or not.

I saw the same, and it certainly appeared that was the sequence of events.

As @Captain Dirty already said, there was likely an entire crew of men scrambling like hell down in the engine room, trying to get things re-started. Since they hit the bridge and there were two deaths, there will be an investigation either by the NTSB or whatever authority has jurisdiction, but everyone will have forgotten the event by the time the final report is released.

Another strange one was a couple miles from my homeplace was a very excentric old guy who decided to built Noah's Arc. Full scale according to the Bible and he worked on it for years in the 1960s. Then one day in high school we see it go down the road, he went back roads to Norfolk where he launched it.
The road trip alone must have been an adventure given enormous size.
He had wide load vehicles front and back.

How would they have even moved it....

Having seen this full sized replica, my thoughts as well.

It's a long time ago. I remember it being very large, but enormous by those dimensions. Either it was, say, 1/4 scale or if exact it would have been transported in sections then final assembly at the port. I remember it caused a sensation going down the road.
