Considering how popular EZ Go golf carts are, at least around here, they must be good though I'd never own one anyway.
The OP is in Florida so there must be many golf car shops down there. The EZGO are built by Textron as is the Cushman line. They also make the Jacobson equipment.Considering how popular EZ Go golf carts are, at least around here, they must be good though I'd never own one anyway.
You're upset that parts for your 2000(ish) golf cart arent available? Should a new bed be free because the old one only lasted 20ish years? When I bought my Kubota, it came with a JD garden tractor and an E-Z-GO ST350 Workhorse, which is a 350-cc gas cart with a dump bed. It has a Subaru Robin engine.
The cart is not bad, but the company that makes it behaves like it works out of somebody's spare bedroom. Is it E-Z-GO? Is it Textron? Can't tell. The website is garbage. Lots of parts are discontinued. Some parts you can still get are cheap. Others are insanely expensive, like the $2300 dump bed.
It's like the Popeyes Chicken of cart manufacturers. Amateurish and slipshod, from one end to the other.
Sooner or later, I may want to get rid of this thing simply because of the hassle of getting parts.
Is there another company that makes similar products and also provides good customer support, like continuing to supply parts at acceptable prices?
Respectfully, you don't know what you're talking about. Go compare E-Z-GO support with any other big company. They stink with newer products, too. You're upset that parts for your 2000(ish) golf cart arent available? Should a new bed be free because the old one only lasted 20ish years?
A company that makes UTV's is a UTV company. And as I have said, it's bush league with regard to all products. To be fair, EZ GO isn't a UTV company. They are a golf cart company.
It is a good cart. The company is the problem. If I want a Kubota part, I can get it fast from Ebay, a local dealer, or Messick's. Textron or Jacobsen or whatever E-Z-GO is this month is nothing like that.Considering how popular EZ Go golf carts are, at least around here, they must be good though I'd never own one anyway.
