Is There a UTV Company That Makes Good Stuff and Backs it Up, Unlike E-Z-GO?

Every time I go to the Kubota dealer, I eye that RTV-XG850 they have on display. It sure would be fun to run around the estate with it, but the $15K price tag makes me question it's true usefulness. Right now, I keep the cabbed tractor at the house and just jump on it to get around the acreage. I'm not really sure what advantage an RTV would have.

The FEL bucket and the tote I have on the 3pt will carry anything I need. The two seats on top of the tote also carry any passengers that want to tag along. There's no place on the property an RTV would go that the tractor can't, so access isn't an issue. For now, an RTV stays on the list of things to buy when I hit the lottery.

I'm not saying RTV's aren't practical for some folks, just not for me at this point in time.

YMMV.

For the OP, as was said Textron is a holding company with diverse industries. One of which is Bell Helicopter, so they know a thing or two about engineering a quality product. I have driven E-Z-Go carts. They just are not in the same category as a UTV. While some of Textron's holding may make a UTV, E-Z-Go isn't one of them. As for parts availability, it looks like E-Z-Go steers you towards the dealer.

My wife questioned the purchase of our first UTV, a 2015 Kawasaki Muke 4010. After a while she wondered why we didn't get on earlier. It pulled the manure spreader and a drag harrow for the arena. We traded it in on a new 2025 Kubota RTV-X. She likes it better than the Mule, as do I. I really like the fact it is diesel, filled from our fuel trailer. No more 5-gallon jugs of gas to lug around.

Not upset at all. I never understood any poster posting disparaging remarks.

I was raised to.. If you don't have anything good to say about a person or company other than an outright screw job, don't say (or post anything). Posting that crap just makes you look small.

You are whining about the cost of parts. Got news for you, all replacement parts that are OEM are expensive.

Yes, you were upset. You were emotional, not rational.

Your parents misled you. It's important to criticize companies that let consumers down, and doing so doesn't make anyone "look small." That's just your weird response. You must be furious with Consumer Reports. I guess they look pretty small to you.

No, all replacement parts that are OEM are not expensive. Where did you get an idea like that?

The cart is fine, even if it's not a heavy-duty machine. The semiconscious manufacturer is the problem. The cart holds 800 pounds, does not get stuck on my property, and would be easy to work on if parts were both available and reasonably priced.

The Kubotas look great, but now that I've learned the floors rot out, I am not interested in one.

😂 What stinks here is your attitude. You didnt start by asking who has what and their likes/dislikes about it. You started ranting EZgo as a whole over your vintage equipment.

I wasn't interested in their likes or dislikes, so why would I ask about them? I was asking about other companies.

Since you believe the whole bed only costs $75 to make, why havent you made one?

That's really stupid.
" You misstate the point. My main complaint is not the price of the parts, although even the ripoff artists at John Deere would have a hard time outdoing a $2300 cart bed that cost $75 to make. And I just happen to need bed repairs."

PS May want to double check your story about EZgo's status
You need to explain that.

White-knighting for big companies for unknown reasons is unfathomable to me.
