Good Morning
78° and a high in the upper 80’s, chance of an airmass shower later in the day.

Yesterday’s trip went well. Dodged thunderstorms in both directions.
We rented a car and drove to Washington, PA to check on our plane that’s been there for maintenance for a year. It’s a pretty major undertaking, but is actually all coming together now.

The ride back to Pittsburgh was interesting, most of it was in extreme precipitation, going 25 mph on the interstate.
However, I’d much rather drive through those cells than do it in the plane!

Haven’t decided what I’ll get into today, I want to trim back some hedge rows that attack me when I’m on the Lazer, might be bearable enough to work outside today, we’ll see what happens.
I think you need a speaker upgrade, and wheres the subwoofer? :)

How long before it's ready?
That's a really sleek looking plane.

What’s going on in Venice?
I drive thru Washington PA on my trips to the farm. Just over an hour out.
They been working on the pipeline at the farm in the heat. Looks like they might be winding down some, they took some pipe out yesterday.
High here yesterday was 94, not the 100 prediction which I’m fine with. Afternoon storms helped.
Need more lumber for deck project.

45 is too much for a ten minute hair cut.
Especially if it's done frequently (more than once a year) on thinning hair.
Hair cuts and shaves are a waste of good money.
I'll slightly disagree with that statement. It makes finding ticks and chiggers much easier.

I think one of my last barbershop haircuts was for my daughters wedding about 5 or 6 years ago.
About 2005 I got in the practice of "shave and a haircut" every St. Patrick's day (March 17th) late at night, or early in the morning on March 18th.
This was the easiest way to clean up from my "greening" in honor of my Irish Grandmother, bless her heart. And it gets me ready for the spring and summer outside work in the land of the ticks.

I think it's a false economy to spend what they charge for a haircut.

Good Morning,
Ct, cooler weather prevails. Cloudy with on and off showers but the lack of heat and humidity is really refreshing.

Work this morning and then some weed whacking around the homestead later.

Hope all have a good Thursday 🙏

I know I do for my car. Read all the online stuff to be read and for under 100 bucks can hopefully make a big difference.
No high end now, everything is muffled.

I ordered new tweeters and mid range speakers for the top of the dash, one from Crutchfield, including
the install kits. My car's stereo was built by Pioneer, and has a built in crossover for sending lows to door speakers, midrange to corner dash speakers and treble to tiny things in the pillar. I'm sure none of it will fit easily but, but but
I have access to two certified electrical geniuses and I just know with a little help this can be done.
The door speakers involve complicated door disassembly, forget about that.
I'm going to replace the speakers that deal with vocals and instruments, really don't care how much bass thump there is.
With a little bit of splicing possible. And bending off a replacement tab or two.
I ordered the little plastic gizmo kit to pry off the covers; can see on you tube they just snap in.

because factory head unit is from Pioneer, I ordered a 4 inch Pioneer midrange/treble and a 3/4 inch Pioneer supertweeter.
have not replaced the 6x9 in door.
speaker resistance 4 ohms, within range

good morning, 86 going to high of high of 91, slightly cooler slight chance of rain later tonight

Went to the lab for blood work. New place in hospital complex with long halls and lots of walking

Walked down with contractor the tree trimming removal, weed whacking etc that I may sub out. Concluded it may make sense to hire a crew for a day and direct them on what to do. Estimate to follow

Since it was very hot yesterday changed to using the excavator and stay cool in the cab. Almost froze me out because that is how powerful the AC is. Cleaned up a few areas for weeds using the teeth on the bucket and did some culvert widening at the entrance and exit. Also since I had it out stacked some fence poles and moved some large rocks

The goslings are doing well and all 4 are still there.

LWS reporting it's already 86F @ 11:15. DP 74F, HU 70% with 28% cloud cover. Calling for a high of 88F with heavy thunderstorms later this afternoon.

Dangerous Thunderstorm never materialized here yesterday, just got a few drops.

Nonetheless, we were ready for it if it had. Good for up to 5 inches:

Noticed something was stinkin' when I was mowing out back yesterday over on the west side.

Noticed buzzard out there picking at something later:

... so it's possible that I actually got the other juvenile groundhog I took a shot at the other day.

Gardening work likely on agenda for today.

Woman has requested that I start bringing woodchips down to mulch the area between the strawberries and the flower bed now that the grass and weeds have died off:

Have plenty of stuff to get planted as well.

Hope everyone is having a decent Thursday.

Made a Lowes run, returned a few extra things, and bought a little more wood. Unloaded that in garage, and I'm probably done for the day, unless I do some work in the garage.
stopped and picked up monthly meds.
