If it was an albums with several of her songs it could have been a 78 rpm or a 33 rpm. 45's where normally single songs on each side or even just one sided single song records.

Wow... never imagined I'd see a day when that required explaining. But here we are... 2025!

On the same note, we still have a 1940's rotary phone in our kitchen. It's fun to watch my kids' friends pick up the handset and try to figure out how to dial it. Heck, some don't even know you need to pick up the handset before dialing!

With that said, I'd be really surprised to find a 78 of that song in the US. They died out right around 1959, but were still issued by small companies, and a lot of overseas places. That one I posted was from South Africa, I believe. So a US 78 of that song in 1960 might be a rare find.

Interesting fact.... 78s were made from shellac. They broke very easily. Shellac went scarce during WWII, one of the factors in the move to vinyl.
