SSQA Snow/dirt plow blades

I've been running a loader mounted snow plow on my tractor for decades
I have power angle, but no tilt function.

Wouldn't "TILT" be rolling the SSQA plate back and forth with the loader curl function? That changes the angle-of-attack slightly of your blade.

The original poster mentioned he want a tilt function, I can only assume he meant side to side tilt.

That was my take also, but I wasn't sure what the term would be. My blade "tilts" left and right a few inches, but not operator controlled. It follows the contour.

I have a SSQA blade, it will pile deep snow up into some quite tall piles. It also works good for pushing snow off the edge of the driveway when the plow berm gets larger then I like and to have room for more. It does stick out in front of the tractor quite aways and it's not my first choice for snow plowing, I actually prefer my rear blade set at an angle and pulled behind me.

For some reason I can't attach any more pictures to this post.

I ran my plow A frame under my loader arms, doesn't stick out far at all. (9' Western snow plow)

The original poster mentioned he want a tilt function, I can only assume he meant side to side tilt.

He also said he wanted a combination "snow/dirt blade" but later corrected that. I guess we'll have to let him explain the "tilt" requirement.

A blade on a loader that goes up/down/angle left/angle right and then also could somehow tilt side-to-side would be something very unusual. Would also require more than just loader controls with a 3rd function.

Some dedicated snow plows have some slop built into the design. That way the plow can follow the contour and camber of the drive independent of the tractor.
