I don’t post here very often anymore because I have more going on than I can keep up with but I wanted to say thank you to all of its members here.

Recently purchased a different make of tractor that isn’t covered by this forum and I have to say that it’s a whole different world.

The people here are kind and considerate and have always been helpful without any snarkiness.

I understand the world is changing and how people treat one another has changed but again it’s a pleasure to ask my questions here even though they are often not even tractor related.

Thanks to everyone and I do miss coming home after a hard days work and just talking about tractors with decent people

@Muhammad make sure you come in here and absorb some of these good words. Let that massage your ego a little, you gave us this site.

@1930 this is a great place, even when we have different views when it comes to the fun stuff the members here put it aside.

I've got to ask, what tractor did you buy?

Like tacticalturnip I too am curious as to what brand tractor you bought. But remember there are a lot of things that are easily discussed that aren't brand specific. Hope you enjoy the new machine and how about posting some pics?

We tried a separate site but it didn't really work out. Might try again with a different format some day.

I did attach at least a picture a while back but here’s it again with my beautiful wife sitting.
It’s gas powered and so a lot of guys might not be interested.
I’ve owned many different vehicles ( mostly autos from the teens through early 30d ) and I’ve found when discussing originality it’s tough to find people that are interested in the topic.
Power king people are definitely not an exception, haven’t found anyone yet that cares.
Just stick a China carb on it mentality which is fine if that’s what there into.
Anyway this is a 74 with 14 hp Koehler, 24 inch rear tires, dual transmission and hydraulics on rear.
Originally Penn turnpike tractor I believe.
I’ve purchased 2 others

I never considered it would be a Power King, lol. I guess because I'm on a few other forums and they have sections for PK I presumed TBN did.

That's what I get for make assumptions!

I'm under the impression they're beasts, but have never owned one.

I had the identical tractor for a while. It would have pulled down a house if it weighed enough. A friend rebuilt the original carburetor for me and it would start in about half a revolution. I wish I hadn't sold it, but I had nowhere to store it.
