Is the Cyber Truck a Flop?

Neither are Musk's timeline or pricing forecasts. :p

I understand setting lofty goals, but geez... you'd think he'd step back into reality at some point!
Next we will hear Musk wants to build rockets to send men into orbit… oh, wait… he already did that.

His Tesla Power-wall is also in demand and had a long backlog for a long time.

I pointed out yesterday, that only 1/4 of pickup trucks are bought by democrats, the remaining 3/4 by republicans and independents, so cyber truck sales shouldn’t have taken a big hit because of it.
My factual post got moderated out of this site. Maybe this one will remain 🤷‍♂️ Not political.. just factual..

I went with FranklinWH batteries and solar management system a few years ago, no problems and it has worked well so far.

It's been established over the prior 62 pages of this thread, that Cybertrucks are not real pickup trucks.

My own very limited experience: I know three people locally with CyberTrucks. All three are bleeding heart liberals, and the Cybertruck is the first "truck" each has owned. All three were Tesla fanboys, long before they were Cybertruck owners.

I don't think normal demographics apply, here.

I’m pretty sure CT qualified for the $7500 tax credit. I had a deposit down for one when I thought it would be $60k. I’m on a CT forum and many of the buyers got the credit.
I bought a Model YLR last year and I was happy to get the credit. I live the car. My commute is 90 miles each way and as was mentioned, not stopping at a gas station is nice. I charge at home for much less than gas. I still have to get gas for the truck and the odd time that I drive my wife’s Jeep. But for my commute, I’m happy to skip the gas station.
