I use an open station with a plow, but we usually don't get more than 1-2' at a shot, and usually more like 5-6". And we also don't usually go below 10.
I also only have 7 or 800 feet of tarmac to plow.
Trails are pretty tight so have a smaller tractor for that.

Who here who says "you don't need NO stink'n cab" blows snow over the winter?
I'd also be curious who here blows snow from a long, barely passable path. I've never used a tractor mounted blower but the walk behinds I've used really hate injesting stuff like branches and rocks. It seems like a blade is a safer option until the road is significantly improved.

We transferred lots of $$$ for the camp yesterday and are packing to head that way late this afternoon. So do we really own it now? 🤣 Will continue to clear the road in/out over the weekend.

As far as tractors go, we are still debating how it will be used for snow removal.. Might just use it with a snow bucket which would negate the need for a cab. The camp is on the edge of the lake snow belt.

I have inherited a bit of money and instead of trading the LS, I may add the T25. I don’t really need it but it would be perfect for 2/3’s of the work I do. Who knows, after using it for a while I may find it is OK for the other 1/3 of the tasks.
Congrats Don. The little two-range T25's front loader lifts less than half of what your LS does.... I would imagine that could get quite frustrating. But having a 60" belly mower for the yard could be handy.

No interest in a belly mower, will use a three point one. Looking for 2000lb loader lift capacity or more.

ArlyA, I would not give up on the idea of buying a cab tractor when you are ready. I have one on my Kubota, and it is so nice to not have to struggle against the wind and blowing snow in the winter time. Mine doesn,t have a heater, but I do get the greenhouse effect and it is cozy enough to use it even in the coldest days during the winter. With all your saws and trimmers that you already have and use often for trail brushing, it is just your time that will be needed to make your trails useable with a nice and cozy cabbed tractor.

You got that right. Trails and trees need to be out back, not brushed aside with your damn cab! Trails are not a new thing to us, or using a tractor.
