Funny you should mention that, the last couple of weeks I have been waking up to an owl hooting outside our bedroom window Of course it’s still dark so have no idea what type of owl it is

good morning all from washington nc
enjoying my coffee and relieved that buckeye just solved a problem
for me. My Norcold fridge was icing up too, but no problem codes.
Ah, there is an adjustment for the sensor to go up and down.
But...I have no sensor, nothing, no wire to it, just gone.
so no wonder, fridge is running constantly.
going to research what installing a new sensor is like.
Dennis, thank you. And glad you had something to adjust. No white sliding bar thingee in my fridge at all.

I use a little applesauce to get my pills down easier and having the applesauce frozen does not help that at all. I microwaved it a few seconds.

heading down route 17 all the way to Myrtle Beach. Going to be a lot of stoplights down there. Will be leaving around 9am
I believe fig newtons will be my armchair snack for around 10am with my thermos of coffee. was going to do yogurt and blueberries for breakfast again but better make sure yogurt isn't frozen a little. Maybe I should just off fridge for a while and give it a break.

Good Morning,
Ct, 58 to start going to 77.

Today should prove to be an adventure. We are hiking up to the top of Sleeping Giant mountain with all of our radio gear on our back packs. I have been telling you guys about my radio activations of local parks called POTA, Parks on the Air. Well this is called SOTA, Summits on the Air. Probably not the type of hiking that Billy does with Della , but we are carrying all our radio gear up to the top. And the chance of seeing any poisonous snakes is not nearly as great either

I’m glad I do a daily long walk because our route is fairly steep, so this should prove interesting

I will be leaving here about 6:15 this morning to meet 3 other radio club members at the base. I will report in later today how this all went.

Morning all!
51 going to a sunny 80 today.
Wife and I will be leaving for an eight day trip tomorrow. Not sure how much internet we will have access to.
Today will be spent packing and shutting things down. I also want to make a last pass with the leaf equipment so I don't come home to foot thick leaves!
Early this morning I will clean up the shop and put everything away.
Got two projects completed. An alligator spruce and walnut art piece.

Wife said she needed a table for her house plant. I made her this butternut and cherry one. Curved and sanded the feet with various tools. The rest was all done on the lathe. She loves it! 2 foot high by 14 inches round.

Couldn’t sleep last night watched all of season one of Landman went to bed at 3:30 woke up soaking wet sugar too low 51 now 70. Precious wanted out before I went to sleep so got that done did not see owl but let us know he was there. Moon was very bright

good morning, 54 going to 80

Changed oil and filter on the van and started to work on the stabilizer bar. The links with ball joints connecting it would not come off since the studs were rotating without the nut getting off. Was tempted to get the oxy/ac cutter but decided to leave them and see it I could replace the bushings in place.

The bolts for the bushings were rusted in place and could not be accessed with an impact tool. Only managed to get one side done may do the other side today

Had a lot of tools out to find something that would work and a 16 mm combination wrench and a long 1/2 inch socket extender to slide on the open end of the wrench was eventually what worked although could only turn it a few degrees at a time so it took forever since it was rusted in place and no access to the back side of the bolt to spray something on it

Cleaned up the bolts with a die and reused them and the bushings were slit so opened them up and pushed them on the bar and hammered the yoke in place and aligned the bolt holes.

Doing this laying on my back was "fun". Having the dealer do this sounds a lot better somehow

Good Monday to all our TBN folks. Hope everyone's weekend was good. Was warm here and we spent it at our newly owned camp but the humidity was quite low and a breeze blew. As you can see in the pic, the leaves are 80% down there. Its in the 50's here now and today's high for Houghton is 57.

Thinking about replacing my aging copper with pex.
- Anybody done that, and have any recommendations?
- Should I include manifolds?
- Also looking at a whole house filter. Anybody have experience with Water Right Sanitizer Plus?

I have a lot to learn.
