good morning all
up earlier than expected
70 degrees out now, going up to low 80s.
went outside around midnight to find the moon and when came in cracked one
of the windows so I could hear the surf even better. It's a constant low rumble, marvelous if you like it. Am hoping tonight I can stay up late enough tonight to walk out on the beach and try to get some pics of the moon on the water

my friends live right down the beach in a high rise near the Apache pier, and said they would come down and pick me up in their golf cart. Good, cuts down on walking.
The husband unfortunately has bad rosacea and despite loving the beach, it really does not like him. He has to slather up with white stuff or he turns into a pumpkin.

But I'm hoping at some point today we can go fly some kites on the beach. His wife thought beach might be too crowded to find an empty spot but we shall see.
I got them a pair of matching octopus kites. Big long things with lots of tentacles and knowing these two, (they have a wonderful close marriage) his kite will be all over groping his wife's kite with those tentacles. Now that would make a cool picture.
and hopefully be good for some laughs.

going slow, enjoying my coffee

one thing for sure after being parked by beach for three days, this rv will sure be needing a wash to get all the salt spray off. And like most places near the beach they don't allow rv washing. This place is absolutely packed with rvs, very tight sites, except for mine. All the way at the end, I have a double site, with a lawn, gazebo, etc. Billie, if you ever get down here, ask for site 14.

Coffee is brewing. 67° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 68° with rain and NW winds. Did not cut grass yesterday. Did laundry and some house cleaning. Should have been doing that today. Did talk to Harvey. He is doing the recovery thing good. I will find something on To-List to do today.

Good morning, the low is 57 and going to a high of 63°F. Wind N 11 mph. Rain. Looks like an all day rain.

The float didn't come yesterday when it was sunny to get the tractor, said at 4:30 P.M. that he would get it this morning at 8 A.M. Now it is raining. We'll see.

The mechanic figures pretty much it is a glow plug that is my problem. Seeing as there are only three, I will get him to replace them all.

I missed my nap yesterday, waiting for the float. I went to bed at 9:15 P.M. and now I am up bright eyed and bushy tailed.

There is my day planned out.

Have a safe day all

Good Morning Frits and Dennis,
Doing this laying on my back was "fun". Having the dealer do this sounds a lot better somehow
Totally agree, how nice to have a lift to do those projects 😉
Bard Owl very distinct hoot. hoohoo--hoohoo
Good Morning Dennis, well It sounded like that but of course I was half asleep 😃

Good Morning,
Ct, 59 to start going to 76. Looks to be the last warm day over the next few days. Tomorrow looks to bring in some rain and cooler temps.

Sorry I didn’t get to post again yesterday afternoon but we had two of the grands over for supper and I needed to help Kathleen with that along with grilling the steaks.

Yesterdays activation of Sleeping Giant state park went well, weather cooperated and we had a group of 5 club members. One of our club members was a bit overweight and we had to stop a few times climbing up to the summit. We all wore back packs to carry the radio gear up, but we were rewarded with multiple contacts after we got setup.

Not sure what today will bring, there are plenty of projects, just not sure what I want to get involved with today, if anything 😉

Here are a couple of pics of our group at the summit.Im the second guy from the left, good time had by all 😃

Hope all have a great Tuesday 🙏

good morning 60 going to 78

dropping Cody off at the groomer and picking up groceries

finished the the other side of the stabilizer on the van. Went a lot easier and now that I made 700 dollars an hour compared to what it would have cost at the dealer would be only fair that is added to my tool budget.

Mowed the big field likely for the last time this year

Good morning TBN. A brisk 45 here this am and a high of 55 is predicted today. Serious frost warnings have been issued in the higher country, like our camp. Dearest is working a 1/2 day today, so this afternoon we will be heading up there to clear the road in some and drop a tank of propane off there. The previous onwer is coming back this weekend with his son and another fellow to do one last hooray, then load some items (Junk really) to take home. We'll be there Saturday to ask a 1000 questions. This will also be posted in the "camp found and setup" thread. Hope everyone has a nice Tuesday!
