Paul, I had some North Carolina White Lightning a few years back. My friend brought some back, from visiting his brother. Oh that stuff was good. It was not only powerful strong but had a nice flavor also.

I'm familiar with Shopsmith, the Swiss Army knife of woodworking machinery. They do nothing great, but everything okay enough. Good machines for a hobbiest who has limited space or budget, and infinite time to keep changing setups for each operation.

I've never really had to do much work on one myself, but those who have tell me the biggest problem isn't the machinery itself, but the inherent issues with accuracy that happen when trying to return the machine to repeat some earlier configuration for subsequent operations... you can never get it back to exactly where it was, before.

Good morning TBN crew. Rained on/off all day yesterday and overnight. Still is lightly falling at 40 degree's this am and today's high is 42. I built a mini-pintle hitch for a our atv trailer yesterday. I am packing and organizing to get to camp when dearest gets off on Friday. The below photo is a mini-pintle hitch setup.

Colors are changing but not very spectacular this year

D is celebrating her birthday closer to home this year and settled in for a few days next to Shenandoah National Park. Beautiful place that she showed us in the video she sent

Did not get much time in the shop yesterday but hoping to get more time for it today. Slow going but eventually..........

Wife is having an increasing difficult time walking and standing and had a close call on falling yesterday

Kyle, recalled that is how the SS system worked. I will see what wife remember about that that and get back to you

Couldn’t have said it better myself No serious woodworker or hobbyist would ever consider that machine IMHO
