As i get older i get stronger. Now days i can lift $400 worth of groceries with one arm
Nope, but did all fit in the large sams cart, and in the trunk of a mid sized car....

Our daughter usually comes home for 3 weeks or so at a time and flying is cheaper and takes way less time, but when she flies we don't have anything for her to drive when she is home. I decided to buy a cheap car to have around as a spare for her when she comes home. I found this '05 Acura TL in great shape for a steal.

You seriously bought a plot?
Really. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Cremate me and scatter the dust anywhere. Although I was shocked to find that cremation is not that much less expensive than burial. I guess I should check and see if self cremation is an option.

Went to Sam's Club with wife, so, like $578 worth of groceries.... did get a 15# brisket. I really like eating brisket, but its a dang commitment to make
We never cooked brisket until a few weeks ago. Did a dry rub then cooked in a crockpot for like 6 hours and finished in the oven with a couple rounds of basting. Wow, that was good!

Just bought another one (first one was "shared" from a friend).

We have a second home that is about 7 hours drive (or 10 hours flight, so we drive) away.

Since we only ever take one vehicle, we are "stuck" there with one vehicle, and often the wife and I want to go different directions. So we recently got an old favorite of my wife's for her when we're there. If they hadn't discontinued them she would probably still be driving a new one.

This is a 2008 Honda Element SC - FWD, not AWD, but it lives in South Jersey so not an issue. Lived in FL for the first 15 years of its life and had 117k when we bought it. Even I like (and willingly drive) it...
