The cables are only about 10’ long and have Dinse 10-25 connections at the welder.

Is it acceptable to use a Dinse 10-25 extension cable on my ARC welding stick holder cable? Also could I use an extension on the ground and electrode holder?

Would it be better just to make a longer set rather than using an extension?

Extensions are fine. Been using extensions on both the electrode and ground lead for years with my Lincoln tombstone.

Another thing that I have done, make a ground cable with a magnet ground contact. Makes it nice for welding on flat or irregular shapes for close ground contact. Also have 2 different electrode holders.

Sometimes you need some length for the stinger but not the ground. Other times, you can't get what you're working on close to welder.

I have 3 extentions for the welder along with 15' stinger and ground cables. Glad to assist.
