If you have a job that requires significant towing, like WinterDeere, you wouldn't buy an EV truck so your points are irrelevant.
Most people who own a truck, rarely use it for towing or hauling.
Maybe test drive a Tesla so you can educate yourself and not sound ignorant.

I don't need to test drive a Lamborghini or Bugatti to know I don't want one. That doesn't mean I'm ignorant just because I say I wouldn't have one.

Until you own a Tesla you can't understand the value it provides. I have Full self driving and it has reduced my hatred of driving in traffic. No other EV approaches Tesla's technology. I will buy nothing but a Tesla from now on.

I have to say the FSD was a Big stress saver for us driving in and around Calgary.

The only time we paid for and used it. I hear version 14 is better, If we take a trip out of state to new places I will probably buy a months worth again. It was worth it for Canada.

Now that FSD is $100/mo it's worth it for us. I think for older folks who have trouble driving it would be a life saver.
We were driving out of town last week at dawn. The car with FSD saw 2 deers moving around in the ditch area and slowed down. I never saw them.

The only time I use my old f150 is for hauling things. Other than that, it just sits.

The tech is virtually the same in all the Teslas. The Cybertruck sits higher of course but drives even faster than my Y.
I think the cybertruck is cool and now look at most other brands as visually boring.

Taste is so individual, I can't really criticize anyone's taste over another. But I will say, you're definitely in a small minority, if you think the CT looks cool!

I think it's a real shame for all the smart engineers working at Tesla, a real opportunity missed. If they had made it look less offensive, and not had the issues they had with the trailer hitch -- and maybe if Elon stayed out of politics -- the CT could have been their biggest success, yet.

But as it stands today, the title of the thread is apt. The CT is a flop.

I think people buy the CT solely to look, and be different... Much like coloring their hair purple.
