Sounds alot like my wifes garden. $$$ thousands worth of raised beds, top soil, manure, etc to grow probably $50 worth of vegetables . Now she wants a $3,000 fence around it.

But then again, i remember the time we got a cute BLM donkey rescue for $50.00, than threw down $4,000 for panels, feeders, water trough and fencing.
The sad thing about that $3k fence is the critters will still eat more than you.

I have a 50's Nash with original Goodyear WWW spare tire. Last time I checked still holding air but rubber has turned to hard plastic.
I have a trailer my Grandfather made many years ago using a straight axle from a '32 Chevrolet. One tire went flat long ago and the old guy who fixed it said it's been a long time since he saw a red rubber inner tube.
Big difference between bias ply and radial tires.

I use bias on most everything I can since they last so much longer...if not used on road and at speed.

It doesn't matter what I buy... If USPS is delivering it, it will get lost and be late. Every time
Surprisingly, my wife ordered a bunch of stuff on-line the other day and a huge pile of packages was dropped at our back door Saturday by the USPS.

About 10 years ago, I moved into my new tin shed and I swore I would NOT buy a second set of tools. I will simply walk the 65 feet to the heated garage where all my tools are to get what I need.
I had a conversation with a younger generation folk about farmers having multiples of tools. That person just couldn’t comprehend why one would have 5 tape measures, multiple hammers, multiple sets of screwdrivers, etc.

I explained one for each bench, truck, and tractor. They said just carry it all with you.

Ok, so I’m out in the field and don’t know what situation or breakage or fix is needed, so carry everything with you?

Nope, after walking around my yard for 20min looking for our one rake, I’m buying another one. Will prob get a tape measure while I’m there. LOL
